Having the right information for your legal case is very important.
Once you file a lawsuit, the case will be in the Litigation stage. Information that your attorney can obtain through legal means is called discovery.
Discovery is conducted by your attorney - usually by sending written requests in a prescribed form to the opposing party specifically listing the type of discovery sought, the manner in which it will be obtained, and the time for complying with the request.
And … there is an additional way to obtain this valuable intelligence for your legal case. You can hire a P.I. expert to find certain types of information to help confirm or refute what the opposing side is providing in their discover responses.
The great part of hiring an expert Private Investigator is this - it can be done using discreet legal methods.
Once you have this added intelligence, you may want to present it right away, or you can consider keeping it close to your vest. Not revealing to the opposing side what you do or don’t know about can be a great strategy for your attorneys.
